Events

Organised by Tandem Events, Develop:Brighton is a conference, expo and networking event for video game developers. It’s the only event in the UK that brings the entire game-making industry together – from global superstars to micro indies, to learn from each other, share ideas and experiences, network and do business in a friendly and inclusive environment. And they’ve been doing it since 2006. One of the ten thematic areas at the conference is dedicated entirely to audio.

Music Estonia participates in the conference as part of the Europe in Synch project, where our role is to visit film, advertising, and gaming conferences to gain an overview of these events, their connection to the music side, establish new contacts, and participate in networking events. Our goals at the festival are as follows: to explore the largest gaming conference in the UK, research how gaming companies license music and what the best practices have been so far, understand the challenges involved in linking these two fields, introduce the objectives of the EinS project, involve new contacts in both the EinS project and Music Estonia’s ongoing activities, and provide new knowledge from Music Estonia members to companies.
