The aim of EMEA is to highlight the Estonian music sector and its support structures, and to recognize outstanding individuals who operate in and contribute to the development of Estonian music entrepreneurship.

For the sixth time, EMEA is organized by Music Estonia, the representative organization of Estonian music companies and the music industry development centre. EMEA’s cooperation partners and supporters include the Estonian Association of Phonogram Producers, the Estonian Authors’ Society, the Estonian Performers’ Union, Music City Tallinn, the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, and Live Nation. The main sponsor is Sviby.

The evening EMEA awards gala is preceded in the first half of the day by the Estonian Music Market Focus Day, which concentrates on the development trends of the domestic music sector. Thus, two of the most important annual events in Estonian music entrepreneurship are brought together in one day, gathering key figures from the field. The Estonian Music Market Focus Day is organized by Tallinn Music Week in cooperation with Music Estonia.
