Festival Les Escales
Les Escales is a city festival held on Île du Petit Maroc in Saint-Nazaire, taking place since 1992 in mid-summer on the Atlantic coast. The festival offers an eclectic program focused on contemporary music: pop, rock, rap, world music, electronic, and techno, featuring big-name acts, emerging artists, and international musicians. The festival attracts over 40,000 visitors in total.
Music Estonia is participating as an export partner in the festival’s international Globetrotter network, launched in 2022, to create new collaboration opportunities for Estonian artists. In 2023 and 2024, a collaboration with Võnge Festival took place, with The Boondocks and Night Tapes performing from Estonia.
