Reeperbahn Festival 2026
Location: Hamburg, Germany
The Reeperbahn Festival, now taking place for the 21st time in Hamburg, is one of the most established and influential new music showcase festivals, as well as the largest club festival and music industry conference of its kind. It takes place every autumn in Hamburg’s famous Reeperbahn district. The Estonian showcase night ESTonishing will be held for the third time. The 2024 ESTonishing lineup featured Night Tapes, Ajukaja & Mart Avi, Rita Ray, and manna, while in 2025 Estonia was represented by Duo Ruut, Alonette, mariin k., and Pridian. In previous years, Estonian artists such as Tommy Cash, Holy Motors, and Maarja Nuut have performed in the festival’s music programme. Over the years, the festival has also been a breakthrough platform for international acts including US band Bon Iver, UK artists Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, Norway’s Sigrid and Aurora, Ukraine’s Alyona Alyona, and many others.
This year’s Reeperbahn Festival motto is “Forever legit?”, inviting musicians, audiences, and industry professionals alike to reflect on changes in the music business and cultural landscape, and to foster dialogue around future trends in the creative industries.
We invite Estonian artists to submit their interest in performing via the official Reeperbahn application form by Tuesday, 23 June at 23:59. The Estonian showcase night will take place on Wednesday, 16 September at the Baalsaal venue, preceded by a reception at the same location. In addition, Music Estonia together with the Reeperbahn Festival will also host networking events for the Estonian delegation and international music professionals.
For those joining the Estonian delegation, a discounted registration code is available, bringing the festival pass price to €319 (including VAT and system fees). For delegation participation and the discount code, please contact project manager Greete Paršin at greete@musicestonia.eu.
Support for joining the delegation can be applied for from the Estonian Authors’ Society export fund or the Cultural Endowment of Estonia’s Music Endowment.
Music Estonia’s strategic cooperation partner is Tallinn Music Week. The project is supported by the Estonian Ministry of Culture.
