WOMEX – the Worldwide Music Expo – is the most international and culturally diverse gathering for world music and the largest global music industry conference. It features a trade fair, panels, films, and showcase concerts. Every October, over 2,600 professionals (including 260 performing artists) from 90 countries come together, making WOMEX the leading networking platform for the global music industry. Estonia is once again represented with a stand in the trade fair area, this time as part of a joint Nordic-Baltic pavilion. In addition, we are coordinating a reception and networking events, and will be showcasing two Estonian artists on the Northern Connections stage. There will also be a Baltic market presentation as part of the conference program.

The partners are the Estonian Traditional Music Center, Tallinn Music Week, the Embassy of Estonia in Helsinki, the Latvian Music Information Centre, and the Lithuanian Music Information Centre.
