Estonian Funk Embassy set out in 2016 to unite the local funk, soul, disco, latin and jazz community with that of the world. The ambassadors means on this mission are a weekly radio show on the national broadcast station Raadio 2; booking services, concert and DJ party production for local and international acts. Funk Embassy also hosts a stage at Tallinn Music Week, presenting the region’s acts to music industry professionals from all around the world. More thorough PR and management services are currently provided to Rita Ray and Lexsoul Dancemachine, who won the Band of the Year at the 2021 Estonian Music Awards. Since 2017, Funk Embassy has been active as a record label that releases music on vinyl and digitally. The imprint received the accolade for Label of the Year at the 2020 Estonian Music Industry Awards.
