Katariin Raska is an Estonian multi-instrumentalist and improviser. She is often driven my different sound landscapes and all kinds of playing techniques on the instrument. Her versatile background and interest in the interpretation of songs through different playing techniques and instruments has brought her collaborations with traditional musicians, improvisers, as well as poets, storytellers and dancers. Katariin is one of the front figures in Estonian jaws harp music and the pioneer of improvisational music on Estonian bagpipes.
