Pianist Joel Remmel has been active in Estonian music scene for more than 15 years, mosty in jazz music field. In 2020 he recieved an award “Jazz Musician of the Year” in Estonia. For the past 10 years he has led his self-titled instrumental ensamble Joel Remmel Trio that focuses on playing Joel’s original compositions. They have released 5 studio albums and the trio has performed all across Europe and beyond. Joel is a valued band member for various projects — from jazz music to theatre field, from orchestras to pop musicians. His recognizable piano playing can be heard on more than 30 albums. Joel is also valued teacher in Georg Ots Music School and The Academy of Music and Theatre.
