Winners of Estonian Music Industry Awards 2022 announced
The winners of the Estonian Music Industry Awards 2022 (EMEA ’22) were announced at a gala event on Friday, 31 March at the PROTO Discovery Factory. The awards were presented in 22 categories to individuals and organisations for their significant contribution to the field of music last year.
This year the Estonian Music Industry Awards were given out for the eighth time, with awards presented in 22 categories, added by special awards. For the first time, awards were announced in the categories of Music Marketing and Communications Achievement of the Year, Best Music Event Production Manager, Best Artistic Director of a Music Event, Technical Partner of the Year, Music Company of the Year and Music Exporter of the Year.
The gala event hosted by Robert Linna featured performances by YASMYN, Wateva and Jüri Pootsmann, artists represented by the last year’s winners in the categories of the Music Producer of the Year and Manager of the Year.
While winners were previously selected by a large jury of representatives from across the field, this year the awards were divided into five categories represented by a jury of experts in the specific area.

The aim of the Estonian Music Industry Awards (EMEA) is to highlight the Estonian music industry and its support structures and to award recognition to outstanding people working in and promoting the Estonian music business.
The main organiser of EMEA ’22 is Music Estonia in cooperation with the Estonian Association of Phonogram Producers, the Estonian Authors’ Association and the Estonian Performers’ Association. The partners include the City of Tallinn, Piletilevi, Tallinn Music Week and PROTO Discovery Factory.
