Winners of Estonian Music Industry Awards 2024 announced

On Wednesday, March 6th, at the festive gala evening held at Noblessneri Valukoda, the winners of the Estonian Music Industry Awards 2024 (EMEA’24) were announced. Awards were given in 29 categories, and 5 special awards were also presented. Recognitions were awarded to individuals and companies for their significant contribution to the promotion and development of the music industry. This year, the winners for the Music Synchronization Act of the Year and Songwriter of the Year were revealed for the first time.

“Recognition is a sign of support, provides motivation to act, and encourages the fulfillment of future ambitions. Looking at the achievements of nominated companies, actions, and individuals from the past year, we see that a growing ambition is what has emerged among music professionals in Estonia – the desire to perform in stadiums, the passion to create new types of festivals and establish new performance venues, the burning desire to bring big names to Estonia and take our talent to foreign markets that may be distant but offer plenty of new opportunities with investment. We must experiment, be bold, and not let this determination fade; that’s exactly what is needed – the will to break through and the will to create,” said Ave Sophia Tölpt, CEO of Music Estonia.

The gala evening was hosted by Robin Juhkental. Performances were given by artists Stefan, EiK x boipepperoni, Haldi & ans Flamingo, Kitty Florentine, and Karl Killing, all laureates of EMEA 2023. DJ Tom Lilienthal maintained the musical atmosphere.
