Apply to the international mentoring program
Music Estonia welcomes applications from music sector professionals — such as artists, artist management companies, managers, event organizers, and other music entrepreneurs — who feel that international experience and perspective could provide the necessary boost for their development.
The program connects selected participants with internationally experienced mentors who have expertise in the specific areas of interest to each participant (e.g. developing an international artist career, live sector strategy, marketing, film music and composer career development, event accessibility, music technology, and business development). Mentors also represent diverse markets and genre backgrounds, with strong profiles in heavy music, jazz, electronic, indie, and pop. Mentors come from the Netherlands, the UK, Sweden, and Iceland.
Each participant will receive five individual mentoring sessions (online, 60 minutes) between September and October. The focus of the mentoring is based on the participant’s described challenges and goals, which also determine the matching with a specific mentor.
International mentoring offers an opportunity to receive personalized feedback tailored to your company or career focus and to get answers to your questions. Mentors will provide reflection and guidance to accelerate your growth, help you avoid common mistakes, and think through the next strategic steps toward achieving your goals.
See all mentor profiles and application requirements on our event page, and apply no later than August 25 via the link. Selected participants will be announced by September 1.
The program is co-funded by the European Union and carried out in partnership with UNESCO City of Music Tallinn.
