Based in the UK and working internationally, Martel Ollerenshaw is an arts broker and creative producer. With a wide portfolio of skills and interests, she leads her own company, Arts & Parts, and works actively with artists, organisations and festivals to create and produce work that is pioneering and often genre blurring. Active in the international art music and jazz community, she is the vice president of the Europe Jazz Network, a board member of the Australian Music Centre and hcmf// (Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, UK), a member of the Monash Music Industry Advisory Board (AUS) and an advisor for Jerwood Arts (UK), Music Norway (NO) and Pro Helvetia (CH).

A specialist in the development of musical talent at all stages of careers, she has a background in artist management (clients include/have included John Surman, Andy Sheppard, Jules Buckley and Jan Bang) and has identified and nurtured this generation of British, Australian and European musicians working in jazz, improvised and art music via formal talent development schemes including Sound Out (AUS, CH, NL, PL, UK), Milestones (PL), NICA (DE), the Seriously Talented suite (e.g., Take Five, Air Time, Move On Up) as well as informal mentoring (via Music Estonia, Music Finland, and for individuals).
